Clothing Tips:   The BEST clothes to wear in your portraits:  Simplicity is the key to a successful portrait. Long sleeves are recommended. Coordinate your outfit(s) from head to toe. Darker clothes minimize body size. Remember, it is your face that is the main focal point. Keep the tonal range of clothing in the same group -don't mix lights & darks in the same outfit. Clothing that has a pattern and bold colors can and will add pounds to your figure. To assure a successful portrait, it is best to bring along several additional clothing choices and let Sonya help you choose. Don't forget to bring your jewelry, i.e. your class ring. You should wear your hair in your regular style. Guys should NOT have a fresh haircut. If you need a trim, have it done about a week before. Props can make your session more personal. So bring what makes you...you.
