In Kentucky, if you have been in an automobile accident, the insurance company that insures the car you were in is responsible for paying the first $10,000 in medical bills, lost wages, and prescriptions. If you must travel out of town to see a doctor, this insurance will normally pay your mileage too. The company insuring the car you were in will pay your medical bills, lost wages, and prescriptions regardless of who was at fault in the accident. I can help you in obtaining these benefits, referred to as PIP or Personal Injury Protection benefits. There will be no additional fee to help you obtain these benefits.

While Kentucky law requires that each auto policy provides PIP benefits, you may have a $1,000 deductible. This is not standard, but you may have a deductible if you requested the least expensive policy available. If you have a deductible, that part of your medical bills, lost wages, etc., is your responsibility.

Remember, the Law Office of DEBRA L. BROZ does not collect a fee unless you win your automobile accident case. I also provide free hospital and home visits for personal injuries.

The client is obligated to pay case expenses as well as court costs in the event of a recovery.
